python-sorl-thumbnail software package provides thumbnail support for the Django framework, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-sorl-thumbnail
python-sorl-thumbnail is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-sorl-thumbnail package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-sorl-thumbnail *
You will get with python-sorl-thumbnail package name, version, architecture and description in a table
